Youth of May premiered on the KST television network. It begins airing on May 03, 2021, and came to an end on June 08, 2021. The drama featured Lee Do-Hyun and Go Min-Si in the leading cast. Youth of May takes place in the 1980s during the times wherein the uprising of Gwangju is in motion. Myun-Hee is a nurse, and Hee-Tae is a medical student. Her best friend, Soo Ryeon’s family, has arranged her marriage with Hee-Tae. She sends Myun-Hee in the place on the first blind date for making Hee-Tae rejecting Soo Ryeon. However, he falls for Myung-Hee, not knowing that she is not Soo Ryeon. Furthermore, the uprising and families intervene in their life.

Doom at Your Service

Doom at Your Service premiered on the tvN original network. It begins premiering on May 10, 2021, and came to an end on June 29, 2021. The drama featured Seo In-Guk and Park Bo-Young in the leading role. It is a romantic fantasy drama that tells the story of a woman, Dong-Kyung, who had only a hundred days to live. However, she meets Myul Mang, a harbinger of death, destruction, and misfortune. They came into a contract wherein she will wish for the ending of the world, and he will give her a painless death. But, both of them did not expect that they would fall in love. Besides, the triangle love story between the second leads is also interesting in the drama.

Mad for Each Other

Mad for Each Other premiered on Kakao Tv. However, the same is also available in the Netflix streaming service. It begins premiering on May 24, 2021 and came to an end on June 21, 2021. The show featured Oh Yeon Seo and Jung Woo in the leading role. The romantic drama features the story of completely two different opposite characters, Lee Min Kyung and Noh Hwi Oh. One has anger management issues, while the other one has complexity issues. But, both go to the same psychiatrist and live in the same building. They meet continuously and become confident and protectors of each other.

She Would Never Know

She Would Never Know aired on the JTBC original network. It begins premiering on January 18, 2021, and came to an end on March 09, 2021. The series features one of my favorite actors, Rowoon and Won Jin-Ah in the leading cast. Furthermore, the drama found its inspiration from Elsie’s web-novel Senior Don’t Put on That Lipstick. It is a workplace drama that features the love story between a senior and junior working in the same cosmetic company. Chae Hyun-Seung has a liking towards his mentor and senior, Yoon Song-Ah. They begin a fake relationship after Song-Ah boyfriend betrays her. But, their feelings for each other soon become real.

So I Married the Anti-Fan aired on the Naver Tv. It begins premiering on April 30, 2021, and came to an end on June 19, 2021. The show features Choi Tae-Joon and Choi Soo-Young in the leading cast. It also found its inspiration from Kim Eun-Jung’s novel of the same name. The story takes place between a top star, Hoo Joon, and an anti-fan, Lee Geun-young as the name suggests. One is a top star, and the other becomes his anti-fan due to an unfortunate incident. Geun-Young gained popularity as his no one top anti-fan. Later on, they fell in love despite the bickering amidst the shooting of a documentary together.

Nevertheless

Nevertheless is an ongoing drama in the JTBC original network. It begins premiering on June 19, 2021, and airs on the Friday of each week. Furthermore, the series is also available on Netflix for streaming. Nevertheless also found its inspiration from Jung Seo’s webtoon of the same name. The drama features Song Kang and Han So-Hee in the leading cast. It tells the story of Na-bi and Ja-Eon. Both go to the same department in the same university. Na-Bi wants to date despite not believing in love. Ja-Eon only does not want relationships but likes to flirt. Both begin an intimate relationship after getting to know each other.

My Roommate is a Gumiho

My Roommate is a Gumiho aired on the tvN network and is also available on the IQIYI platform for streaming. It begins airing on May 26, 2021, and came to an end on July 15, 2021. The drama also found its inspiration from Na’s webtoon of the same name and features Jang Ki-Young and Lee Hye-Ri in the leading roles. The series depicts the story of Shin Woo-Yeo, a 999-year-old Gumiho, and Lee Dam, a university student. But Dam accidentally swallowed his bead one day. He also let her keep the same as he needs human energy to become human. Both begin living together in the same house and begin falling for each other.

Love Alarm 2

Love Alarm is a Netflix original series that follows the story of Love Alarm. It found its inspiration from Chon Kye-Young’s webtoon of the same name. The drama features Kim So-Hyun, Jung Ga-Ram, and Song Kang in the leading role. Love Alarm tells the story of Jojo as he gets entangled with Hye-Young and Sun-Oh. Furthermore, an application, Love Alarm determines the likeness and love between two people. In season 2, Jojo wants to find the developer for removing the shield which she has put for stopping her love alarm. Sun-Oh still has feelings for her despite their breaking up. On the other hand, she is in a relationship with Hye-Young now.
