Resident Alien: Plot of The Series
The story of the series revolves around an alien who has been sent to earth to wipe out the entire human population. However, his ship gets struck by lightning, and his mission goes sideways. Soon he realizes that now he has to blend in with the humans if he has to execute his mission successfully. He comes across a doctor whom he kills and takes up his identity for the disguise. After that, he encounters another problem when he has to play the doctor’s role to examine a body in the town. He takes up the job of the doctor so that he can blend in. But the story gets interesting when he finds out that a boy can recognize him as an alien.
He tries to kill the boy, who is the son of the mayor of the town but eventually fails to do so. The boy draws up several posters of the alien in disguise to put up all around the town. On the other hand, the alien meets a bartender from the town. During a conversation with the bartender, he gets another idea of how to kill the boy. As the story progresses, the alien named Harry becomes friends with several people from the town. This makes him doubtful about his mission, that whether or not he should kill the humans.
The story takes another interesting turn when Harry’s ship is discovered and captured by the military. However, Harry’s human friends help him find his device so that he can get his ship back. After many incidents in the story, Harry finally gets his ship back and decides to head back to his home planet.

When Will Season 2 of Resident Alien Release?
The first season of Resident Alien received a lot of positive reviews from the audience. The series was also very much appreciated by the critics as well. Resident Alien currently sits at a score of more than ninety percent on rotten tomatoes. With that type of success, the series has been greenlit for a second season by the Syfy network. The second season of Resident Alien is set to release in the early months of 2022. The network announced season 2 of the series after the finale of season 1 aired on the 31st of March 2021.
